Director of Operations & Human Resources
Richard was born and raised in Birmingham, AL and graduated with a BA in Fine Arts Education from Kent State University in Ohio. He previously worked as a teacher, using the fine and performing arts as a medium to teach inner-city youth core curriculum. After relocating to NYC, Richard joined Eye to Eye where he supports the daily operations and human resources of the organization. In his spare time, he visits museums, cooks, and volunteers for various causes in NYC. Richard is a Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resource Management and an Authorized Facilitator of Darkness to Light’s ‘Stewards of Children.’
