Eye to Eye Virtual Open House Replay

Virtual Open House Replay

On October 12th, 2021, Eye to Eye hosted its first Virtual Open House. The Open House gave participants a chance to learn more about Eye to Eye’s offerings through three virtual tables: a near-peer mentoring station, a Learn Different Alliance (LD Alliance) station, and a professional learning station for educators.

The Virtual Open House brought together decision-makers at higher education institutions and K-12 schools, parents, educators, and students to raise awareness of Eye to Eye’s program offerings. Students from high school through college, educators, and parents were encouraged to attend. If you were unable to attend, watch the recording below to learn more about our three program offerings: Near-peer mentoring, the LD Alliance, and professional learning opportunities for educators. Our mentoring program pairs middle school students who learn differently from high school and college-aged mentors, so we encourage all participating students to explore this table. Our club offering, LD Alliance, is set up for high school and college students to build community and foster advocacy. For educators, we encourage you to watch the recording to learn more about having our mentoring program at your school, as well as the professional learning opportunities we have for you! And for parents, we encourage you to check out our student program offerings to learn more about your student’s options.

Eye to Eye’s goal is to ensure that schools from every community are aware of and can take advantage of our programs. We hope you will view the recording below and be on the lookout for future events.
