15-Year-Old CEO Uses Learning Differences as a Tool for Success

Christianna Alexander is the 15-year-old CEO of Sweet Christi’s, a successful bath and body products company. In elementary school, Christiana was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD after struggling in school. Despite the challenges she faced, with the support of her family, friends, and teachers, Christiana began to thrive. Inspired by her entrepreneurial parents, she decided at a young age that she wanted to start her own business. At the age of 12, she began creating Sweet Christi’s. The company makes fun plant-based bath products that look and smell like delectable sweet treats. She also started a nonprofit focused on the education and empowerment of girls through STEM and entrepreneurship called The Sweet Squad, and is a speaker at several youth conferences. But that’s not all this teen CEO does: she’s also an author of two books. Her most recent book, “Stay Sweet and Never Miss a Beat,” was released this spring. “I’m basically a unicorn,” says Christianna. Eye to Eye’s Founder and Chief Empowerment Officer had the privilege of sitting down with Christi over Zoom to discuss the creation of Sweet Christi’s, learning differently, and her latest children’s book. Listen to their conversation below, and be sure to visit sweetchristis.com. You can purchase “Stay Sweet and Never Miss a Beat” here.
