Content & Creative Producer
Julia is a designer and educator who explores creative and free expression through community engagement. Her approach to content strategy is founded in collaboration, building trusted relationships, and human-centered design practices. She’s been developing open, secure and equitable design solutions for communities internationally for over 15 years. Julia has an eclectic portfolio that includes interactive exhibitions, public art initiatives, curriculum, illustration and motion graphics.
At Eye To Eye, Julia develops creative content and manages design strategy that showcases people, places, and stories from Eye To Eye’s growing community. She collaborates with staff and community leaders to find the most effective design solutions that deepen impact and mobilizes the community.
Before joining Eye To Eye, Julia was the Design and Technology Manager at Libraries Without Borders US, where she worked with local organizations to bridge the digital divide by transforming public spaces into digital media centers. She has an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons The New School for Design and enjoys teaching college classes that focus on ethics of technology, digital design and media studies. In her spare time, she gardens, bicycle tours, mountain bikes, and skis.
